Politics is a sure fired way to kill anything good... Crooks... eh, politicians, do NOT have the best interest of the people in their agenda at all. If they did, the lower 48 would have started to change many years ago. For the people, by the people is long dead and gone. When you consider that the country is run by less than 5% of the people in it, you really have to figure out who does have your best interest at heart...

Look at the auto industry for one... Instead of supporting American made autos, not that I think cars should be left as they are, they lift import tariffs and allow other countries to open plants here and pretty much take over the market. All the while, exports of our products are down to the lowest level ever... One example; Exports of autos TO Japan is down 94.1% in the past 3 months of 2012, but so are imports... oh but wait, most of Japans auto companies have plants here in the US so they no longer need to import the autos, they are already here... foreign companies owning American soil... hmmmm we are being taken over from the inside out, no longer does a country need to be invaded, just bought. Funny, the Nazi's did the same thing... took over invaded countries industries... only difference is, now we are inviting them to do it.

You really have to ask yourself if you want AK to base it's worth on tourism or the oil industry. Both of which are economy driven industries...

We as Americans had better start telling OUR politicians what we do want before it's too late, if it's not already... What will AK look like in 10 years? You (WE) had better start asking what the US will look like in 50 years... When a foreigner can get a small business loan to open/buy a business and I can't, something is VERY wrong.

Not a "race," but a mental disease.

Some are not as well educated as you are, thus their statements

I believe I have bulimia conservative nervosa. Whenever I listen to someone like Romney or Ryan for more than 10 minutes I vomit.

If Romney gets elected I'll have to apply for SSDI because of my mental disease.

There is a cure - do not listen to politicians.

It has worked for me.

If you do not listen to what any politician has to say, then it cannot trigger your gag reflex. There is also a side benefit, you never hear them lie.

Your work as an owl whisperer is only superseded by your political wisdom.

The ONLY reason a person goes into politics is because they can't make an honest living doing anything else.

as long as I'm not starving, live surrounded by beauty, have property, and a job I love... I'll be relatively happy. I normally don't watch much politics... but I've tuned in on a few key phrases that make the "communist alarm" go off...

Gotta watch those reds... they'll kill us all...
