When does Anchorage have the best weather (sunny, warm (66+) and dry)?

May and June are normally the driest months. This site list temps/precipitation for dozens of Alaska communities by date.

Generally, but not always, late May to Early June.

Problem is, the dry months don't really line up with the warm months. March - May are fairly dry and clear, though with no guarantees. The trees leaf out and temperatures get comfortable around mid May. In mid June, drizzle and low clouds get more frequent, slowly transitioning to heavier rain by August and September. Planned outdoor activities seem to taper off around late July. That's all a generalization... Anchorage has had summers where it was sunny and above 70 degrees almost every day, and summers literally without a single bluebird sunny day.
