Travel by bus in Anchorage (mover, transfer, buy)

I plan to stay at the Ramada Anchorage Downtown
115 East 3rd Ave, Anchorage and need to get to the Native Medical Center about 5 miles away. I've attempted to figure out the bus routes, but have been unsuccessful. Can someone point me in the right direction. What buses/transfers/how long it will take to do this commute each direction.

Route 45 will get you there without having to change buses. It looks like it'll be about 50 minutes each way.

There's a bus stop at the Ramada in, on the curb. I can see it in Google Maps Street view.

I've ridden this bus and it does go by the Ramada. Keep in mind that this bus also picks up at the homeless shelter so it will be pretty full and will have a lot of colorful characters on it. I never had any problems on this bus route.

Is there anything that states when the buses depart/arrive? I don't see the bus schedules in Google like other metros.

Well, the links I posted had times on it. Granted, it doesn't specific list the stop time at the Ramada, but I'd assume it would be somewhere close to the time it's at the Downtown Transit Center.
Since your are staying at the Ramada, maybe call the front desk & see if they'd be willing to run out to the bus stop sign and see what the stop time is for Route 45.

That stop is only like 5 minutes from the downtown bus depot.

This link will tell you where buses should be at each stop, and if they are going to be late. If you need to ride more than two times, including taking more than one bus to get where you are going, buy a day pass. There are no transfers in Anchorage, you either get the pass or pay each time you board.
