Does anyone have any tips for fising at Ship's Creek? Is there a fishing thread already started?

Only fish just before, during, and just after, the high tide. The salmon return with the tide, so fishing for them at any other time is an exercise in futility.

if you have it. spend extra money for nice fishing trip in Gulf of Alaska. take two or four buddies with you on mid size cabin cruiser fishing boat. catch larger fish and they might package freeze it for latter use to use at home in Alaska. why spend muddy time in river or creek fishing for the unknown?

What are the actual times of the day that these things occur? For example... 6am?

It varies. Today the high tides (there are always two per day) for Anchorage were at 2:29 AM and 4:10 PM. Tomorrow the high tides will be 3:41 AM and 5:15 PM.

See Anchorage, Knik Arm, Cook Inlet, Alaska Tide, Tide Stations, Tide Predictions, Marine Tidal Tables, Fishing Tides

If you get out there a half an hour before high tide and fish until half an hour after high tide you should see plenty of salmon. Now whether you catch any or not is another story.
