I am looking at possibly accepting a public health position in Anchorage. I have some friends that live farther North and mentioned that they had to have electrical plugs placed on the vehicles to keep the engines warm in the winter. So...my question is whether or not I would need to have one placed into my pickup before I leave Colorado in order to live in Anchorage. Would there be that much of a difference in temperature to not need one?

Also, do real estate agents take care of rental properties?

Warptman, thanks for the links. I find it interesting that you live in Bethel. I was asked if I wanted to take the public health nursing position in Bethel. I hope to at least travel there and see what Bethel is like, even if I don't accept the job in Anchorage. I hear Bethel is beautiful.

Wow, it is going to take me a long time to look at those pics. What I did see was neat. Thanks for the link. I have had my telephone interview and am going through the reference checks right now. I will have to see what happens. I may still have to come to Bethel though!

You are welcome!

The Public Health Nurses out here travel to at least 59 villages out here in Western Alaska. They are based here in Bethel. If you like traveling, this would be a great place to start!

I had a late day at work today and just thought I would check this out! I know if I don't get that job in Anchorage, I am going look at Bethel again. I am spoiled though in the fact that I live an 1 1/2 hours from the city. I know that wouldn't be the case if I lived in Bethel. I am going to take time to look at the pictures. Are you a pilot that flies the nurses around??
