A little out of my venue since I don't go to bars but I'll answer by saying Have a White Christmas and as DD drive like you've got some sense.

And to all the other posters out there who will probably chime in have some good Holidays and be safe. We're leaving for Homer to take the AMHS Ferry to Kodiak so my wife who has relatives there and my daughter who has come up from Oxford, Mississippi can partake of my Christmas gift to them. Actually I might visit the bar on the Tustumena since I'll have a designated driver across the Pacific on the way to the Big Island and have a dose of Uncle Jack on the rocks while singing "Have a Merry Little Christmas" to all. We'll be back Christmas Eve and maybe I'll try to post a photo or two.

When I was in Anchorage 3 years ago Humpys was a fun place to go. Decent food too. They also do trivia one night a week but I don't remember which night.

Are most places pretty strict about having underage people in there if they're not drinking? ... Like I said I just want to hang out and have a good time with some old friends in between them flying out to their homes for the holidays...

Humpy's is a pretty good bet. You'll be fine but they will be checking your ID.
