looking information on plumbing jobs in the anchorage area or any info on that trade up north do you have to join a union to work are there commission shop up there whatever information i can get

You dont have to be union but they usually pay better.

well down here they pay better also but work much less do the unions have plenty of work up there couldn't get an answer at the union hall

depends. Times are tough here still. My hubby is in the plumbing biz. He does have work but had to take a 25% pay cut last year just to have a job.

it was hard at my company also I had yo let people go and the ones i kept worked longer hours for less money.. I was right there beside them..

I have never been iether put that may change when i get there I am however licensed for 10 yrs now have to retest up there too
