Barracuda has a lot of ads out (they advertise heavily on Craigslist, too). You also have reasonable commute to Toledo from A2 area.

Way more snow in Boston than Lower Michigan... Boston is much bigger city. A2 is much smaller and a more liberal city. Midwest culture is more laid back where East coast is a tuffer crowd...
Depends on if you want BIG,BIG city or small, big city...
IT jobs in MI are super hot now - u will prob end up in 1 of b3 if u end up here...
PS you will get much more for your $$$/COL in MI especially in comparison to LA/Boston.
