Hello! My friend and I are soon to be moving to a ground floor 2 bedrooom (1000 sq ft) apartment at Glencoe Hills. The place doesn't include utility costs (gas/electric/water/sewerr/trash) and am curious how much it costs for anyone who's lived there? Also, how your time living there was? Thanks!

I'm not sure but I've never heard of an apt complex that makes you pay for water and trash removal. Aa2 is the most educated city in the US however don't expect them to have any common sense. You will be dealing with some of the most educated idiots alive. This town is truly an oxymoron.

There are dumpsters throughout the complex and they are "free", which is to say they are built in to your rent. For Gas and electric you will have your own meter and your own thermostats so you pay for what you use and you control your own heat. Your heat costs will be mitigated considerably by having apartments above and on either side.
I always thought that to have to pay for water as a separate bill meant you had your own water meter so you only paid for what you used rather than chipping in communally but I could easily be wrong.

Glencoe Hills isn't in Ann Arbor, its in Pittsfield Township. The post office gives it an Ann Arbor mailing address but Pittsfield Township has its own Government, police, fire, building department, etc. Any landlord tenant issues would fall under state law, county law and township ordinances.
The city of Ann Arbor has nothing to do with Glencoe Hills short of mutual response with Pittsfield Township in a fire.
