google said to remove doors, clean dirt in track and bottom of door, grease, replace - and do not lubricate with wd-40 or silicone spray.

anyway other method to un-stick them without removal? they are not stuck, just hard to slide easily.

Take them out. Got too. Check the wheels which may well be shot but are generally replaceable.

Hard working sliders are generally not on the wheels...that is why hard.

I am rather skeptical you get a lot out of siliconing the tracks and doors. Maybe for a short while. But basically if the wheels are OK and working well all should be good.

And of course get all the garbage out the the track.

On my house the frame around the sliding door actually changed/skewed as the house settled/whatever houses do over time. Perhaps it was not a quality build, but I had to reframe the door in order for it to be operable.

you do realize that when you go to the house "board", there is the architecture forum link there that links to this very same forum. the other "house" forums are garden and home interior design and decorating, and none of them would be appropriate for this thread.

Aftermarket wheels for your doors will make a big difference if the ones you are replacing are old.
