In my mind, I lump these 4 under construction buildings together, as they are of similar size and should have a similar impact on their cities respective skyline. So, which one do you like best, and why? Which one will have the biggest impact? Any other thoughts?

Comcast Innovation Center - Philly
Height: 1,121 ft | 60 Floors

Salesforce Tower - San Francisco
Height: 1,070 ft | 60 Floors

Wilshire Grand - Los Angeles
Height: 1,100 ft | 73 Floors

Vista Tower - Chicago
Height: 1,186 ft | 98 Floors

CITC is pretty massive. It's getting there, but really won't look right until the spire is in place.

Vista wins for me. This new tower, coupled with Chicago's relatively new "Aqua" highrise, add an awesome splash to an already-awesome skyline.

Is it just me, or does the Comcast Innovation Tower resemble the NBC Chicago Building? was that part of the inspiration for this design?

As for me, I love the new Vista Building, will be a couple years before it is finished, as it just broke ground in August.

Comcast reminds me of a bigger, grander version of Boeing in Chicago.

I think it purposely looks like the NBC building in Chicago.

CITC wins this, imo, with Salesforce right behind. The Wilshire Grand is technically the tallest in LA, but it's toothpick of a spire is the definition of cheating, imo. The US Bank Tower still looks taller. And Chicago is littered with tall buildings, so while the Vista is nice and will make an impact, it won't be that extreme.

Lol. More like "Salesforeskin," amiright?!

I like the Vista Tower the best. I actually really like Salesforce too, but Vista is the more unique design. Salesforce is classic Pelli.

I'm not sure if there's a name for the architectural technique, but I don't like how the Comcast Innovation Center has "sections" or horizontal lines every 3/4 floors which breaks up the facade, but also creates the illusion of the building being shorter than it is.

Additionally, It looks like Vista Tower is the only one that is a residential building (Hotel + Condo).
