My wife will be going to school at the art institute of Phoenix, and I will be attending NAU in flagstaff. To avoid living in 2 different places, we want to find a place right in the middle. The middle ground happens to be between Camp Verde and Cordes Junction. Is there anything in between there?

NAU has a campus in Phoenix. NAU Phoenix Campus

Your best bet may be Camp Verde. Another option could be Dewey-Humboldt. It's about 80 miles for each of you, but you are adding about 20 total miles (each way) to your collective commute.

exactly in between those places is nothing, but a few scattered ranches and the Orme School.....

are you both going to be commuting every weekday to each spot?....if so, I hope that doesn't get too old

a few houses at Cordes Jct. and more choices in Camp Verde.....the Dewey-Humboldt choice is good, too, but, as said, you have the drive over to I-17 to do for the Phx driver....going to Flag from D-H, you could use the Cherry Rd over to I-17 just before it drops into the Verde Valley
