Hi,

I just moved to the Sierra Vista area and am looking for a place to go to have my hair cut. I have REALLY thick hair and sometimes hair stylists don't know what to do with it so I just don't want to walk in anywhere and take my chances. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

In my opinion it would be best, if you contact a hair stylist school In Sierra Vista, and tell them how thick is your hair, and what you would like them to do with it.

At first I thought you were looking for a hair stylist that wasn't too bright

I go to Juan's Barber Shop, but then again, my hair isn't too thick either!

If it were me, I'd go to Hair Experience. Ask for Leanne. I love it there. Good luck.

I went to a stylist in Naco, Sonora who was fabulous! Unfortunately, she only speaks Spanish and I don't know her name or number, as my friend is the one who set it up (but she was really, really good!). I have very thick hair, too, as does my son (talk about a nightmare in getting a good cut!). I didn't have my hair cut too often when I lived there, because I have kind of given up on hair stylists!

That said, you will have a greater chance in finding a good one in SV because many Lantino women have very thick hair. Better chance than I had in Wisconsin, where the majority of women have thin, Scandavian hair! My friend (who also has thick hair) really likes one in the mall--if I can find out who it is, I will let you know.

That's funny because that's my name and that's how I spell it too.

Likewise, another coincidence because Wisconsin is where I just moved from!
