Hey theres a city-data get together topic in the Alabama forum here, how does everyone in the Phx area feel about one for the area we're in? A chance to meet people, say hi, have a good time, while weather still allows it.

This is the Phoenix board, you pull into your garage and shut the door In this case you type on your computer and have a good time

I would but I'm at the beach That would be a fun night though. I want to meet Twiggy and Sablebaby. Top Jimmy sounds like a hoot too.

Oh I actually made a friend for life on the Charlotte board.

I think it'd be a riot Having it during the winter would be awesome - that'll give me a great reason to "escape" the bleakness of yet another Michigan winter!

Nah,

Have the get-together here, in beautiful Flagstaff and escape the heat of Phoenix! It is beautiful up here and in a few weeks, the trees will change color and fall will be here. Ahhhhh!

Our temps are upper 70's to low 80's this week. Beat that, eh?

What's going on in here? My ears were burning.

How am I supposed to know y'all aren't a bunch of serial killers?

I have met people from the Internet in real life before. Sometimes it turns out well, sometimes it does not.

I will have to insist on meeting in a public place, such as the subway station, the amusement park, or on the boardwalk. Oh wait, we don't have any of those.

Oh well, I'm sure we can think of something.

I will be the one wearing the tinfoil hat.

LOL.. The get-together's we've had in the past were in very public places, and outdoor areas, and I know the last few we had from another forum, we met in restaurants, and bowling alleys.
