Hi everyone I will be working at home once I move to Arizona for the company I work for now that is out of state. I need to make sure my employer withholds the Arizona taxes and not my current state. I was told to look on ardor.gov for the forms to give my employer but I want to be sure I get what I need. I know a lot of others on here work at home. does anyone else work for a company outside of Arizona and know what I need to give my employer? Thanks!

If your employer knows you will be working from home while living in Arizona, they should also already be aware that they will be deducting AZ income tax from your pay. That's a pretty basic payroll concept. If they use a service like ADP for payroll, that company will handle it.

All you should need to do is complete form A-4 and submit it to your employer.

I work for an out of state company. I have never had to do anything except fill out a withholding form.

The form includes that information on page two. If you don't have it on your copy, go here:

You shouldn't have to anything unless you're self employed, just tell your employer and its their job to handle it. I switched mine from CO to AZ last year and all I had to do was tell HR.

Dear OP,

on a similar note, ... are you the only one working for the company in Arizona - and does your job pertain to selling in any way?

If yes, your employer may need to submit a business license.
