Hello friends!

Any information on commute times and ease from these communities to Tucson appreciated. Also general descriptions and housing costs. I'm an RN, so may have to work in Tucson, but want to find some affordable housing. I know I just have to plan a visit..Can't wait!

Do you know where in Tucson you'll be working? It could make a big difference in your commute times.

Well I can speak on the Marana commute time; my wife is an RN at Tucson Medical Center (Grant/Craycroft) and from Gladden Farms (I-10/Tangerine roughly) it takes her about 40min on average.

Like Bummer and mdtoaz mentioned, it really depends where you're looking to work.

As for housing costs, median price is just over $220k, but again it will really depend where in town you want to live. Take a look at the Tucson Multiple Listing Service website (Tucson MLS) and you should be able to get a good idea for house prices.
