I often times find a white stringy substance in my pool that floats on the water. I try and pick it out and it is "goop" like and disintegrates. I live right under the inbound flight path of airlines coming from southern California and always wondered if it was something from all the airlines that fly over head?

A couple times in the last week while traveling to our second home near Kingman we have had this clear sticky goo shower down on the windshield. It is like a clear jelly but when dried turns kinda murky off white. Can't wash it off the windshield easily. I googled this info and came up with something that happened in Washington state in the 90's? Can anyone explain this or anyone have similar experiences? Thanks! The truth is out there.
