Since I am a Truck Driver;
I was wondering how strict the
Arizona DOT is out there on Regulations?
and are the Arizona DOT fines Really High???
I TRY; not to get into trouble in the first place.
that is why I am asking.

What is the Maximum allowed Truck Weight in AZ?

I know in my Home State of Michigan it is 80,000 lbs.
and for over-size loads it is 164,000 lbs. Which can Only
be achieved by the use of eleven (11) properly-spaced axles.

Refer to your Federal Motor Carriers handbook, all "Federal" guidelines are in there.

It is always best to "assume" that ALL DOT are strict in regards to regulations.

80K in AZ, and fines are high everywhere... The idea is, you pay better attention next time.
years ago it was $1.00 a pound, plus the fine.

Warning, AZ drivers are at the bottom off the pay scale nation wide, hourly they might offer 12 bucks... There are a few union companies, get on with them.
