Arizona Lemon Law (rentals, purchase, price)

Does anyone here have experience with the Arizona Lemon Law, particularly when it concerns a leased vehicle?

Coming up on the 30 day out of service provision addressed by the lemon law, but the law doesn't state if there are additional regulations in regard to a leased vehicle, rather than a financed one.

Anyone have any experience with this?

The attached http://www.bbb.org/us/Storage/16/Doc...-LLsummary.pdf from the BBB says that the Lemon Law does not cover lessees.

This says you aren't covered by the Lemon Law but do have protection under another statute (federal Warranty Act).

Interesting that the Lemon Law does not extend to rentals.
I will assume because the rental term is normally the same or less than the factory warranty?
Leased one in my life, did not like the deal and will never do that again.

In Arizona Lemon Law

1 Replace the vehicle with a new vehicle
2 Accept the return of the vehicle from the consumer and refund to the consumer the full purchase price, including all collateral charges, less a reasonable allowance for the consumer’s use of the vehicle.

They got my vehicle finished, miraculously, around the time I threatened to call Ford corporate. I won't name names, but I have yet to find a local Ford dealer that makes anything easy.

My lease is 36 months - which is thankfully the same length as the factory warranty. Unfortunately, I have another 26 months to expect another breakdown.

Nearly all buybacks are done under federal law (magnuson moss). There are a couple of (huge) law firms on the web that specialize in getting cars bought back, if it were me, I'd pick one and run with it. It can take a while, but don't worry about that part, the longer it takes the better for you - after you win, they can only deduct mileage & use from your first complaint. As a former zone-manager for a car manufacturer, I sometimes did the pickups on buybacks with 100k miles, and the customer got 80k "free" miles from the "lemon".

Dude, that's legit! I'd love to have that. We planted a young orange and lime tree last year. The orange tree isn't doing great and I think I'd rather have a lemon tree there anyway. That tree you posted looks awesome!
