Does anyone know if having a bankruptcy would bar one from obtaining an AZ real estate license?

Absolutely does NOT bar you from getting your license.

Thank you!

I had my FL license from 1991 to 2004...they didn't keep up w/my change of address so it went null and void last year...and if I plan on relocating, since it's not reciprocal...why spend the $....plus I filed bk last year....

I've worked in commercial property management for the past two years and a number of the positions I see for AZ want the applicant licensed as well....so...doing my research here....

someone asked me if a no contest plea to a misdemeaner 14 years ago would need to be disclosed when applying for an AZ real estate license and if that would cause her to be ineligible for a RE license

I'm a Realtor, and the best advice I can give you for obtaining your licence is the same advice I can give you for after you have it and are working. DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE. You don't want to work so hard for something and lose it all for something like that. I do residential, but I work with a very talented commercial agent who's been in the business for years. Message me privatley if you'd like her info.
