Well, wrong forum, but it doesn't look like they have any in Arizona north of Phoenix.

Kinda strange though. Just show them your ID and you're on your way.

Google map app on your smart phone. And don't worry about checkpoints/profiling because of your skin color (that's just ridiculous). Of course, if you have 25 people in a vehicle smelling like weed they're most likely going to question the driver.

The only check point I'm aware of is going into California from Arizona (for agriculture purposes i.e fruit flies/invasive insects compromising their agriculture) and of course southern border patrol.

Interstate 10, 40 and 8 all go into AZ from California, I know that 40 has a checkpoint, I don't think that the 10 and 8 do.

There might be something shady going on with the poster being all paranoid about checkpoints.

What are you hauling, OP? 100lbs of Idaho grown weed? Lol

BC bud. Idaho is the border crossing.

The only thing that crosses my mind for checkpoints pertains to commercial motor vehicle traffic. You know, keeping things safe for interstate commerce.

The only time I remember a checkpoint on US 93 was between 9/11 and when the Hoover Dam Bypass got built. There was one northbound in Arizona, and one SB in Nevada.
