Clam should read the other Kingman thread. It has various opinions on the area. Interesting you avoiding responding to it about the violence.

Go to Kingman and check it out. You can see the whole town in a couple hours...Max!! Some people enjoy the quietness, lack of things to do, and cheap col. To each their own.

Kingman is almost too quiet. I wouldn't put someone down if they chose to retire there, though.

Wow, the answers are appreciated, though I did have to look elsewhere for the answer to my question.
I will check back in a few years to see if Mr. Rhodes has pumped the town dry. Adios.

Default Do not move to Kingman

Please do not move to Kingman. We are running out of water. The hospital is horrible. Too few doctors. And the new interstate thing might bypass Kingman. Please do you homework and think about another place.

If you left, that is reason enough to move there. One less naysayer to bother with. I have visited several times and have friends that live there. Not a bad place, seen much worse, but you better be ready for it when you move there.

This person obviously wasn't....

Just wondering, regarding the wind, does being windy also apply to Prescott?
