Nevada has no state income tax...

Also I think Nevada is significantly uglier in desert scenery.

I look upon Nevada as oligarchic as Mexico, in many ways. The oligarchic casino moguls reign heavy over the NV Legislature and the Clark County Commissioners. And, if not that, the mining industry, and the mob-like taxi unions in Las Vegas, who vomit at the idea of a light rail or subway line going down the Las Vegas Strip, from the Airport!

Always rather laughable when a casino in Las Vegas wants something approved from the Clark County Commissioners, general a 6-0 vote! And how dare any of them vote against the proposal!!!

I view Nevada as more backwards and conservative than Arizona.

Gee whiz! Look how long it's taken to get medical marijuana dispensaries in this state! 40 dispensaries were approved for the Las Vegas Valley 2 years ago, and our flamboyant, hypocritical Sin-City Mayor Goodman states: There'll be no medical marijuana dispensaries in the city of Las Vegas! And our NV Legislative Savior, Tick Segerblom, comes to the rescue, knowing its constituency all too well, to cleverly install a clause: if no dispensary is created in Las Vegas, and you're more than 25 miles to one, you're eligible to grow 10 plants in your house! Lol! Long live Tick!!!

The sin left Sin City when the Mob was driven out 40-50 years ago, never to return!

Las Vegas and the state of NV: Hypocrisy as its most laughable!

Am I really the only who caught the emboldened parts? Someone who criticized people's intelligence (with an implied knowledge of politics) while he misspelled Reid.

I'm sorry, but didn't Nevada vote for Obama twice? I can't see Nevada being more conservative than Arizona.

What is so despicable about Harry Reid?

Have you ever been to Red Rock National Conservation Area? Hands down more beautiful than the Catalinas.

It sounds like you just wanted to go on a political rant and this really has nothing to do with Nevada vs. Arizona. Arizona is in no position to point fingers (*cough* Jan Brewer *cough) at politicians from other states. Our elected leaders have lost us countless business opportunities and almost lost us the Superbowl. We have a sheriff that continuously damages Maricopa County's reputation, costing the taxpayers millions in his legal fees, while xenophobic and uneducated residents just cheer on his every move. Based off of those actual facts, one could scratch their head and question the intelligence of the Arizona voter. I don't think Harry Reid has damaged Nevada's reputation. The last I heard, Nevada, specifically Reno, won the bid for the Tesla superfacility and Las Vegas is again growing at a rate that is faster than Phoenix. You may not like Harry Reid, which is fine. However, to think that as an Arizonan, you have the right to point fingers at the politicians of other states is laughable.

I realized I misspelled his name after I entered the post. Do you have any real points to make?

I do have a right to point fingers at Harry Reid, even though he's a NV senator. He was once the Sen. majority leader. The senate's decisions affect the whole nation!

As for Jan Brewer, I was quite pleased she met the president at his arrival in Phoenix and waved her finger in his face.

Sheriff Joe wants to enforce the law. I have no problem with that, his age or his personality.

Wow, hard to argue against that assessment.
