I live in Burley, Idaho and my wife and I would like to snowbird in Arizona
I've noticed the rv parks are fairly expensive. I wondered if someone here had some suggestions. Vacancies also seam hard to find.
Warmer areas plz.

I recommend looking at the Escapees web site. It is a fabulous organization for people interested in RV living. The organization also has parking recommendations.

As a former AZ snowbird....here are some questions you need to answer first:

Assuming you want FHU's.....What do you want in an RV park ? Do you even want/need to be in an RV park ?

What do you consider expensive ? Is your rig equipped with a generator ? Do you boondock ?

Where do you wish to go (AZ is a big place) ?

The lower in elevation, the warmer AZ is....with Yuma usually the warmest.

Yes, answer some questions so we can better understand what you want to do. For the most part, the western part of the state has lower elevations and more desert, therefore warmer.

I'd recommend any of the river towns to a snowbird. Hottest, but nicest part of the AZ desert IMO. I know there's quite a few RV parks right on the river in Parker, in the areas north of the actual town site where all the California people own their river houses.
