All of which still hasn't changed my own politics, but what it has done is helped me to see the 'other side', and taught me that our current national polarization is much less about 'politics', and more about our differences in Culture, which I suspect few Democrats or 'progressives' are seldom exposed to, let alone understand and appreciate, outside of our own little urban 'silos'.
Well welcome to Arizona! Four guns? That's all? At least you're on the right track, lol.

All this talk of late about the Constitution has had my nose in it quite a bit. I've wondered about the ordering of the bill of rights, why the first was ahead, if the second is so much more important. I have theorized that the saying, "An armed populace is a polite one." is very correct. So, the idea is go ahead and say whatever the heck you want about anyone, just remember that everyone has the right to be armed. If we brought back dueling, we wouldn't need hate speech laws, lol.

Four guns... hey, at least it's a 'start' (lol)! But without getting all 'political' about it, actually I've also slowly come to have a greater appreciation for the current polarization and the 'divisions' between us. Which IMHO are actually more cultural than political differences. Where things like 'guns', 'religion', and the current POTUS, have simply become symbolic 'stand-ins'. And I find that relocating to AZ has been a 'yuge' edumacation in that regard.

Though I get around, and I listen more than 'talk', and BTW, it's not like I'm seein' a whole lotta folks of the opposite, rural, and 'gun-toting' persuasion trying to do the same. Or maybe along with 'carrying' now, I just need to get a MAGA cap too!

LOL! You guys are great. And thanks a ton for keeping this thread civil. I mean it.

Now without further ado, here's a little 'gem' started a couple three years ago with more testimony about how terribleâ„¢ Arizona is:

The heat, COL, Low wages, A/C problems, etc. Pretty much covers a lot of it.

Geez, I only relocated to AZ last year, but since you're apparently so 'curious', how come you also didn't notice that I only began posting again just last month... after a gap of nearly 2 years (mostly 'cuz of a gradual decline in intelligent 'content', along with an increase in the 'quarrelsome' types).
