imo god's country great state with incredibly varied landscapes and climates. flagstaff has summer highs in the 70s and 80s. phoenix has winter highs in the 60s and 70s .

no matter what time of year there's someplace nearby with beautiful weather

The other day there was a GIANT flying grasshopper that terrorized my cat. Actually, the thing was so huge and creepy looking it scared me too. It flew from place to place and then flew at me. I didn't realize it but it somehow must have stuck on me as it came inside. It took forever to capture the thing and get it outside. I didn't want to kill it in case it was good for the environment but it sure was creepy and scary looking.

What was that thing? Was it really a giant grasshopper? I have never seen anything like that before.

Arizona is filled with terrible, creepy bugs. Yuck. What a terrible state to live in!

By the logic of the thread opener, every U.S. state would be a terrible place.

If it had a yellow stripe, then I believe it's called a "general". I saw one of those last month, and it was so huge! I'd never seen a grasshopper so large. lol

A few weeks ago, had one jump on the hood of my vehicles. It was pretty big (hand-sized) & I if I recall correctly, the lower and middle body were a grey and blue spotted mix, a bright yellow for the head & arms, and bright green legs (almost neon green). Very colorful.

Oh yeah, and terrible. Truly terrible. Life threateningly so. But also not interesting at all at the same time. Just like this state.

I don't know about those crazy giant grasshoppers, but the wind here is certainly terrible today! I guess it would be good for blowing away creepy bugs. Horrible!

All that stuff OP doesn't like can be looked apon in 2 ways. Survive and thrive, or fail at life.
Is it lack of law? Or the only state that offers us freedoms the people should have! I understand AZ isnt for everyone, and common sense isnt so common any more....
40 yrs of living in rural Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, i moved to Dolan Springs.
Ive never felt so welcome by people or a town of them.

I was driving to work yesterday and I saw the biggest yellow mouse I’ve ever seen in my life. I swear that thing was the size of a VW Beetle. I gotta get outta here!
