But that doesn't have anything to do with marijuana legalization or the legality of any substance for that matter.

Other posters have asked you whether you think alcohol should be illegal for the same concerns about driving under the influence and I have yet to see you specifically answer that question in any reply. If the answer is yes, then I'll at least give you some credit for consistency in your stance and we'll have to agree to disagree. But if your concern is impaired driving and you think it's okay for alcohol to be legal while marijuana is illegal, then I don't get your position here. Care to answer the question this time?
He seems to think that marijuana impairs you for the length of time is shows up on a drug test (up to 30-60 days) for some reason.

Using the "logic" in that article . . .

I wonder how much time and money would be saved if we legalized Rape, Murder, Vehicle Theft and / or Bank Robberies to name just a few?

That's a poor analogy and not the same logic at all. Everything listed above has a victim.

Do they? You're the one making the assertion.

Who is the victim of pot smoking?

Your other examples have direct victims.

Who is the victim involved in the crime that led to someone being jailed for possession of marijuana (and us paying to house them)? You'll have to stretch pretty far to come up with a response.

Earlier this evening I got a recorded call left on my answering machine from some guy from Colorado in a pitch to vote No on 205. I wondered if anyone else got a call like that and why are people coming from Colorado for this. Obviously to let us know of the pitfalls of passing such a bill, I suppose, but I've read differing things about it and I don't live there so I don't really know.
