I'd be nervous if I was a pot shop owner right now, we very well could go back to what happened a few years ago when the feds pulled massive raids in several states on medical MJ shops and wiped them out.
It's going to be an interesting year or two that's for sure...

To be honest, I guess I'd like to see the Feds tell the states "shut down your recreational shops, we are going to lower MJ to a Schedule 1 drug and look into full legalization when we get national standards in place, and that will be a priority."

I would prefer it be handled nationally just like the DUI laws were brought into one standard law.
What Will a Trump Administration Do About Marijuana Legalization? - NBC News

Above is a link that reveals what might happen under Trump's administration regarding marijuana. For the most part, he supports legalization. You have to remember that Trump isn't a traditional conservative on many social issues, but the people he surrounds himself with in his cabinet might not be so open to the idea of widespread legalization. It could go any which way under him.

Why do you want to see the Feds continue to be involved with something that should be a state by state initiative? Each state passing its own marijuana laws is the way to go. The Feds have done absolutely nothing to stop the trade, the usage, or the addiction. In fact, all those things have become worse ever since the so called War on Drugs began. A century ago, cannabis, opium, and even cocaine were fully legal and there wasn't much of a drug problem at all. What was a problem back then was alcohol use, but that was enhanced further when Prohibition came into play, which we all know now was a huge costly mistake!

Marijuana won in 4 of the 5 states where full legalization was on the ballot.

Arizona is a Trump state and not especially open to new ideas.

You also had Discount Tire and Uhaul putting in money against it.

Discount Tire was my go-to place but over the last few years quality has diminished. I got 37,000 and 19,000 out of my last two Discount Tires and I drive like an old man - lol cause I am an old man.

UHaul I don't know about as Penske has been a better deal for 22' and 24' trucks.

I'd be even less likely to use them in the future.

The state that just overwhelmingly passed a minimum wage hike that also includes annual inflation adjustments and 5 paid sick days a year? Are you high?

Don't forget Sheldon Adelson kicking in a cool $500k to fight weed. Guess he was very concerned about the adverse health affects.

With 185,000 early ballots left to be counted, latest numbers show Prop 205 trails by 30,000 votes - ABC15 Arizona

Breaking!

Quote:
According to the latest numbers on the county’s website , there are 680,638 NO votes counted, and 650,386 YES votes counted. That means for the 180,000 votes to sway Prop 205 into passing, the 185,000 votes remaining would have to break down into just over at least 108,000 YES votes and no more than just under 77,000 NO votes.

More middle of the road than rabid support of either direction. THAT is a good thing...

I prefer Discount Tire for new tires and doubt I'd go anywhere else, if there's one nearby. Here in the KC Metro there are a plethora of them. For moving trucks I still prefer U-Haul. The U-Haul store here in Grandview, MO, is the best one I have ever gone to. They take excellent care of you from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. That is how a business should treat you. I've been to some U-Haul's where the proprietor is the perfect example of rudeness, too. It all depends on the store you go to - and that presents the overall management of U-Haul with a challenge - get all of your stores performing and treating customers like your Blue Ridge Blvd. store in Grandview, MO. They were like a breath of fresh air to me as I completed my move over to the Missouri side of the Kansas City Metro.
