It's a fact. We have our extrememists but the area as a whole is quite accepting as evidenced by gay mayors, a gay sheriff, a bi-sexual atheist House rep, LGBT discrimination protections, named one of the least "bible-minded" cities, Phoenix consistently ranks near the top of the Human Right Campaign's equality index, "live and let live" attitudes that people constantly mention, high number of bi-racial relationships, an active gay neighborhood. Are you less confused?
