I've never been to Mt. Graham, have often wanted to go. Those are lovely pictures. Gotta go on a trek when the weather cools off!

Grandiose, but desolate too, a bit oppressive to me. Not as perfect as Washington state because of that.

My, my, aren't we smug? I'm not sure what pictures you are referring to as "oppressive"; the Mt Graham pics, and others on this thread, certainly aren't "desolate." To each his own, I guess, IMO, NO state is perfect (and yes, I've been to Washington, both sides of the mountains).

Glad to see that you both are alive! Every year, some knuklehead does the same thing that you guys just did, thinks it's kind of cool to run down there and get a picture at the edge, doesn't think about now the ground might shift, and then finds their life flashing before them.

Generally they will be thinking about how stupid it was and how they are going to be missing out on a lot great of stuff in life, on their way down!

I recommend that the next time you decide to do this...Do a research first on Google and find out how many people die each year do the something you guys just did and didn't live to show the pictures.

I guess it's one of theose dilution of the gen pool type of things.
