It would also make it easier to drive back without having to cross the border hassle.

It’s a no brainer that Rocky Point would explode in a development boom with everyone rushing to invest. Arizona’s population would be larger by at least 20%. We can always pay off Mexico 500,000 dollars which they badly need in their developing country. It’s a win win for everyone. They already have the Mayan Riveria (Cancun) and the entire Baja Peninsula, not fair to be too greedy.
1. Because AZ can't.

2. It would no longer be the budget getaway it is.

why stop at Rocky Point? why not the whole of Mexico? they got oil, tequila and obviously they don't hate Americans???? (why would they come here if they hate Gringos?)

instead of invading Iraq and Afghanistan, I submit, the neo-conservatives should have trained their guns on the southern border and we may not have spent trillions without having to show for it, just increasing America's debt

PS: the illegal immigration problem would no longer be a problem. and if Trump still want to build a wall, the border down Mexico with Guatemala would be narrower than the US Mexico border right now

They'd have to deport everybody who lives there.

I once read something about Manifest Destiny? Anyhow, The U.S. is always the problem and there is never any mention of the Mexican government and how things are so bad people are willing to walk across the desert and possibly die.
