I knew a retired AF Col that said he was playing games when he was shot down.
True? Don't know.
But he should have been discharged from the Navy but was allowed to serve in the Senate instead due to Daddy and Grandpa being retired admirals. What else was he going to do???
He divorced a wife that stood by him for years and through his POW status so he could have fun in the senate at the parties.
Not much of a man in my opinion.
He won't resign or give up his seat as he will lose his medical care that he now has as a senator.
I have always considered him to be an idiot and he showed that when the party ran him for president.

McCain represents a wing of the GOP that doesn't exist anymore, that would have had nothing to do with the celebrity porn star fluffers the party has turned into. That's why he's now a "RINO."

As a Veteran, this is what I have against McCain.

McCain’s Non-Support for Troops and Veterans: The Master List:. You'd think that of all the a$$hats in Congress, he'd have one of the best records....

I did not avail myself of my one opportunity to vote for Sen. McCain in 2008. I have to say my main gripe with him is his constant changing of tack to suit whatever political winds are blowing at the moment. He may have cloaked himself as a "maverick", but I prefer to think of it as opportunism.

(Disclaimer: I donated to one of his opponents in his 2010 Senate race.)

As a serving member of the Senate armed services committee, he provides material support for the Azov Battalion and Svoboda party in Ukraine yet he criticizes Trump for his remarks on the protest march in Charlottesville. Both deserve criticism and scrutiny.

If he does not support his President, then he should join the rest of the Democrats who supported Obama and Hillary in trying to take over the Nation by fixing the election, and turning the USA into the "Socialist States of America." I find it ODD that and America, even a Democrat, would support a Party that wants a Communist America. Why do you support that?

Oh please, no one is asking for a communist America; this is just a giant strawman you have built!
