Your post is rambling and bizarre.

It covers many unrelated points.

As for people not "loving" them and "only for their bodies" how many have s*x do it for love and not their own satisfaction and just "like."

Your post has "Puritan" and Judeo-Christian" influence written all over it.

How were you raised religiously?

Same goes or his/her previous post as well...

Its mostly rambling and ranting with thrown insults. No established debate nor stance on the topic. Its not even worth addressing.

I'm single.

Where I live their are freelancers that come to apartments that advertise on dating sites by private message. There are also tons of short time hotels
And the women advertize on websites.

Does Phoenix have this?

What are the laws?
I have seen some escort services in Phoenix charging astronomical amounts.
Going to Mexico becomes part of the equation. I live in Bangkok and you can go online and order one and track her to your door in real time. www.smooci.com, but you could pay half those amounts with a little savy. Some guys say you are paying them to leave.. lol.

It has nothing to do with the law at all. It is freedom of choice.

Again these are losers. Loser who do this because many of them are locked into this lifestyle. Forget prostitution we have sex-trafficking. That goes hand in hand. Anybody playing the age card is a bigger loser because the age does not matter.

. France fought hard to crack down on prostitution. First they were fining the whores and now they are fining the johns. It has not brought prosperity to the world at all.

In my area they did a sting and have literally found guys with these so called women. You call it protection but in reality is pimping. Pimp could be some gypsy guy or even some porn-dude. There are even people in hollywood who cater to parties involving sex. They do this continuesly.

The reality is simple. Your son or daughter should not have to have sex for money while in college. Parents needs to wise up and realize before there children get brought into some kind of life where they are treated like animals they need to know that it is there job to ensure there children are able to get good jobs/careers.

Yes I know some of us are literally growing up in the middle of nowhere where the entire town is in on it. Yes I know for many the only real work is the government or military or police. However it is sad that in this big country people want to legalize something that is morally wrong. It is wrong and if anybody wants to sell their body they might as well work in pornography. That is the only real legal consenting adult work that there is. Not sex in private. Again there is nothing stopping you but people stupidity.

I am going to tell you something about AIDS. It is a real problem still. Teaching kids to sell there bodies is low. Kids follow examples. What could be an aspiring designer or doctor is going to turn into a person selling there bodies into death. People commit suicide over such thing.

THEY REALIZE THAT PEOPLE DO NOT LOVE THEM FOR THEM. ONLY FOR THERE BODIES. IT IS THE SADDEST THING
What you're rambling on and on and on about is primarily the filthy side of prostitution: sex trafficking, street hookers, and back page internet whores. Most everybody is against those things. Wake up and understand that the reason we have this underground black market is BECAUSE prostitution is illegal. Anytime you ban or heavily restrict something, it stimulates the black market even more. The advocates of legalizing prostitution are wanting to copy Nevada's routine because it works very well there: allow brothels in certain areas which mandate that the workers be tested for STDs. Legalizing it would not make the black market go away completely, but it would provide a much cleaner, safer, classier side to it than what you describe.

Furthermore, I find it hilarious that you sit on your high horse and claim something is "morally wrong" while using censored profanity in your posts. That makes you nothing but a hypocrite, which I have found many who push their so called morals on others to be guilty of. My advice is clean up your own life and mind your own business!

Hi, fellow expat.

I live in VN. Close to you.

I worked in Bangkok in 2002, and first went to Pattaya in 1994 when I was 24.

Made a few trips back to Pattaya on the 60-day tourist visa but also travelled a bit in Thailand.

I started going to Bangkok for Business visas and work permits a few years ago.

When I do, i still go to Nana and Soi Cowboy and other areas but it's important to note, the ladies are
not a big part of my life. They are not a priority. But it's nice to have them there.

Intersting that you mention Smooci - I used to be a moderater on a forum that was owned by the owner of Smooci.

(Not the TV forum). I assume you know what I mean.

Anyway, it's good we have a fellow expat in South East Asia on our C-D forum.

I may have posted this earlier in the thread but if anyone is interested in researching legalized models of prostitution, I highly recommend Legalizing Prostitution by Ronald Weitzer. Legalization leads to less stigma, crime and disease. It's safer for all parties involved. You don't have to like it.

Thank you.

I read about it on Amazon.

I might give it a go after I finish the 2 books I'm reading now.

The aftermath of such activities is that, in some cases, Amerasian children are abandoned. In Saigon they were ostracized by the local population and left behind by the American dads. They were referred to as "children of the dust" as unwanted orphans. Statistically, it doesn't always turn out like that, but in some cases it did.

The children (mixed children) left behind after the Americans left (lost) were mostly from boyfriend & girlfriend relationships.

Worth noting is that prostitution in Vietnam was and is, 99.9% Vietnamese with Vietnamese. Same a thousand years ago as today and also during the conflict.

The average age for the American serviceman/women was 19 years of age, which I think has a part to do with these "boyfriends" not using birth control with these girlfriends they almost always considered temoporary or casual. Many East Asian women still think they boyfriend is who they'll marry although that mentality is changing in the cities.

As for the women-side, during that time there were many difficulties for many and I assume there was more of a lack of awareness on birth control, and such.

Today there is more awareness from massive public awareness campaign when HIV/AIDs become known to the world in the 80s and there were and still are billboards promoting condom usage.

Today, the women use birth control and almost always insist on using their condom b/c they bought it, know that brand quality, how old it is, and she knows it has not been sabotaged.

Again, I am not really into the "pay for play" (P4P) that much but do it in spurts.

Most women don't drink or do drugs and with some we go out to dinner, and mingle with friends.

It's embedded in the culture, but kept behind doors and kept quiet.

One large restaurant, concert hall with live music, have 100 women that are available in the long dresses and chat with the customers. Japanese and Korean businessmen go there after work. They usually take the prettier ones by 7:00 pm.

But Many women will refuse a foreigner. You have to text message them first and identify your yourself as a foreigner. They say "no" to a foreigner because of the language barrier and the perceived communication problems, or they just feel uncomfortable. And to be direct, they automatically assume westerners are "too big" and you have to explain to them that you are not, if you're not.

I've started think, only in the last couple of years, that single men are sexually repressed in the US. The US is a bit rigid.

Just my opinion.
