Looks like Arizona is now the 42nd state to establish a sales tax nexus law for remote sellers. This will be effective in October. There will be an exemption for small sellers; initially this will be for those who make less than $200,000 in remote sales per year, but over the next two years this will drop to under $100,000 in remote sales per year.

As of now, there are now only three states with a sales tax that have not passed a sales tax nexus law for remote sellers. Those states are Florida, Kansas, and Missouri.

Newegg will start collecting sales tax in AZ, AR, ID, NM, OK, RI, and VA beginning July 1 in addition to the states that they are already collecting. For some reason they are also adding FL and KS, even though FL and KS haven't passed a remote sales tax law yet.

1) Get rid of all cronyism in government
2) All corrupt politicians please go to that single jail cell. Yes, it is crowded, tough toenails.
3) All spending to cronies is immediately stopped.
4) All tax breaks to cronies is immediately stopped.

When you get those 4 things done, then you can talk about more money for the government. But you won't have to.

You'll find that the government has such a huge surplus it can actually cut taxes for ordinary people.

How does this affect sellers on eBay? Will out of state sellers on eBay be required to collect and remit sales tax for purchases shipped to Arizona?
