There was some smoke hanging over Tucson area the prior day or two, not heavy, but hazy looking. This morning I went out for a bike ride before sunrise, and a steady wind out of the southeast was picking up. That will push the smoke residue away, likely north.

The website Purple Air shows elevated air pollution readings over many cities in the western US including Las Vegas, SLC, Boise, Missoula, and all the metros in CA. Portland and Seattle are starting to have good air quality again - a rain or weather front from the Pacific must have moved in.

It’s been hazy here in Phoenix pretty consistently for a couple of weeks
