According to Wikipedia, 2.5M voted in AZ in 2016, so the early votes are already about 20% of that. Although after a quick scan of the Wikipedia articles, I didn't see what percentage early voting made up of the total in 2016. We have ours and are ready to fill it out, I just hope the officially listed drop off boxes are safe. In another state, the GOP is setting up fake drop off boxes. That is absolutely horrific.

If you're in Maricopa County you can track your ballot to ensure that it's counted (other counties likely too). Worst case, if not, you can still vote on election day. Go to the county recorder's website or text JOIN to 682-683 to get updates on your ballot's status. I received an alert showing that it was mailed to me, received, and then signature verified. Very safe and no unknowns.

Mailed our two ballots back today and yes we signed up for the reporting service.

Can't wait for silly season and all the stinky ads to be over with so we can all get back to sipping suds like best of buds.

No one will know for sure until we have a count. I voted Jorgensen but voted GOP for almost every other office. Prior to this election I could count on one hand the number of Democrats and Republicans I voted for.

On the U.S. Elections site, about a dozen states are already at 25-30% of their 2016 voting totals. Millions of voters have been standing in line to vote early; others have sent in absentee ballots. With percentages this high, by the time the polls close on Nov. 3 there should be a lot of states ready to call the race in their states. I read that only four states don't starting counting early votes until election day. (Mississippi, Alabama, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania)

When it gets to 270+ it`s over so any state attempting to delay it will not matter.

Same here, and that's because Jorgensen is the only Libertarian candidate on the ballot in any of the races. Worst of all, Jorgensen is largely unknown compared to Gary Johnson, who was able to achieve widespread name recognition in the 2016 election. He actually received a fair amount of votes for a third party candidate.

Jorgensen never gets 5% and that should be the target. Johnson would’ve faired better this time I think. He had a decent record as a Republican Governor of a blue state. Yeah he’s a bit goofy but that’s not really what the party is aiming for. They just need to get on debate stage and get public funding.

Regardless, with Arizona becoming a swing state, my third party voting days are over.
