They are permitted to fly in to the USA, not drive in. So they fly to Phoenix and get a rental or have another car that sits here in their 2nd home.

Read the article. They are taking the RV and looks at a minimum 50% are returning.

No...I have a OPINION from the Washington Post.....not necessarily a reliable news source.

I was looking for actual information from Arizona.

You did not post an OP-ED but a report backed by data. Most of us won't know. A lot of snowbirds but how many of us go around asking people if they are Canadian?

My cousin is a property manager who specializes in short term rentals. They book a year in advance. He said he has only a couple of cancellations this season.

Snowbirds in general are back, probably 75% of the ones that I know who normally come down every winter are in Tucson already. If they have to hole up at home, they'd rather do it here than in North Dakota.

The title of the thread is a lie.

Sneaking implies illegal entry.

My guess, it's very few that are using this way of getting their RV's into the US.

Of all the snowbirds I know, only one has gone to the US, legally, for the winter. Everyone thinks he's crazy for doing so. He does not have an RV.

My guess is that the snowbirds from Canada who are going to the US are ones without RV's and are simply flying, and that number is still probably very low.
