How about the 120 million Americans who used painkillers, ant-depressants and tranquilizers to get through the day? Or the 100 million Americans who use alcohol to get through the day? Or the 40 million Americans who need cigarettes to get through the day? Do you consider them pathetic?

I have two dispensaries within short distance of me in South Chandler, one is Sticky Saguaro and the other is Oasis, for some reason I picked Oasis. After you walk in, you give the receptionist your ID and have a seat and wait for the budtender to call your name and escort you to the room. Once in the room you tell the budtender what you're looking for (in my case just something to take the edge off before bed once in awhile, not to get wasted or to increase focus). The experience went well and I'm glad we have this freedom finally. With the amount of money I'm seeing spent, this will also be a big tax boost for the state. A definite win/win IMO.
I wonder if black market prices are more competitive? In some states dispensary prices are more than twice as expensive as in other states. I don't know how they compare to black market prices.

I haven't smoked pot since 1982, but now that it is legal recreationally, I may try some Sativa to see if it can improve my energy and appetite. Maybe it can improve my sleep as well. For me that would be a win/win.

Prove it. People have been smoking lots of weed long before it was recreationally legal. More baseless fear-mongering, yet again.

I'm as Conservative as one can get and don't smoke pot. Now that it's legal I have no desire to use it either. Yet I voted for it to be legal for recreational use. I can't see throwing people in jail or slapping them with hefty fines along with having a criminal record for simple marijuana possession. Not only that but I'd rather see people buying it from a legitimate source instead of some drug dealer on the street who along with marijuana more than likely peddles stuff that is far worse.

I'm all in favor of increasing the penalties for not only impaired driving but reckless driving as well. There are indeed enough problems on the road already.
So...for small government or more of it?

I don't personally know anyone that needs it to get through the day, but a couple hits of indica out by the pool at night before bed 1-2 times a week is like having a glass of wine but better. Its relaxing, offers pain relief and helps to get to sleep. Certainly not pathetic but you do you

Something I forgot to mention. The dispensary I went to was near Sun Lakes and both times I went I saw older ladies (75+) picking up stuff. Its silly the way some people demonize it and think it's worse than alcohol, it has so many more benefits and doesn't have near the negative impact on you that alcohol does.

I don't know if I'd use the word pathetic, but any time you "need" something that alters your mind I'd consider it more of a problem. I haven't smoked or had edibles since college - no desire to either. Personally, I feel like I outgrew it. I do drink, though. I've come to loosen up on the whole marijuana thing lately, as I don't really see a big issue.

I don't know what the street prices are and the last thing I want to do as a businessman is get popped in a drug deal.

Marijuana is not really very addictive compared to things like nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, opioids, etc. The stronger strains will alter your mind and give a feeling of euphoria but a weaker strain will really only relax you and offer pain relief.

Yeah, I have a beer or two with dinner but I'm very particular about the beer I drink and only like two specific brands. Only because I like the taste, and don't drink enough for even the slightest buzz. I can't see drinking just for the sake of drinking or to get **** faced drunk outta' my mind. I quit partying right after high school, it just didn't serve any purpose anymore. I'd never get behind the wheel even after one beer. God forbid if you ever got into an accident even when below the legal limit. Just the fact that you had any alcohol in your system wouldn't look too good.

I maybe smoked half a dozen cigarette's in my entire life? When I tried them I thought that they tasted like **** and smelled like it too. What the hell do I want to continue doing that for? I only tried them because a lot of my friends did. Unfortunately a lot of them never quit and are now paying the price. Besides I had a lot better things to spend my money on instead of watching it go up in smoke.
