We need heavy monsoon rains this year. The entire Great Basin is in a dangerous drought.

Drove through rain most of the way to work earlier this week (from San Tan to Phoenix) and again intermittently today. It was delightful. I also hope we get more.

Last night was a disappointment here in Sun City West. A major part of the storm traveled directly over us with fairly high winds, quite a bit of lightning and no measurable rain. We wuz cheated!

When the greenbelts and drainage basins in my neighborhood were all full to where you could float a boat on them I was thinking about all the new residents and how surprised I was the first time I saw the amounts of rain that can fall here.

Glad to see areas getting much needed rain! Even in a desert climate where you expect little, you still need some. I remember those days in Yuma in August when I was a kid. The most severe thunderstorms and flash flooding. I hope you get more rain from this.

Looking like the Sun's parade will get rained on, especially the way they played the other night.

Yes! Was just looking online that morning that many of the areas around the state have already surpassed their 2020 Monsoon rainfall TOTALS! Great to see!
