Can anyone tell me about Yuma County? I noticed that they have some public housing open in that area.

The Yuma region is served by the public transit operator Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT). It has routes within the city as well as regional routes serving San Luis, Somerton, the Cocopah and Fort Yuma Quechan Indian Reservations and even El Centro in Imperial County, California.

They have public tranportation, YCAT, as has been mentioned. Not sure if I would call it good. Waiting outside in the Yuma summer heat for a ride can be brutal. Also, the YCAT doesn't go everywhere,so you will have to walk/uber/taxi.
