I'm looking to buy land near Eloy. Does anyone feel that the area will grow in the next 10-15 years into a nice retirement area or is that just a pipe dream. I have been to Arizona multiple times to look for land and know what the area looks like now. Thanks for any input.

If you look at what is zoned and planned then you will have a good idea. Check out the Pinal County web site. A lot of promise for the area, and this state has always had a "boom" every ten or 15 years, so it looks like theoretically you may have this timed pretty good!

I have recently telephonically interviewed for a job in Eloy. I am contemplating a second in-person interview. What areas in the surrounding area are good to live in? I am 28, male, single and my concerns are culture and activities, shopping centers (Target, groceries, clothing stores, etc) and low crime. Eventually, when I have a family, I will be concerned about school districts. I would emphasize that I am looking for a nice (not dumpy) place to live and would not want to travel more than 30 minutes to work.

The other option is that I may be able to get the same position located in Florence, AZ. I would probably consider Gold Canyon if I worked in Florence.

Any thoughts? I am new to this, so please help me out.

thanks

I have a lot near Eloy for sale if interested contact Tim Haight @ Arizona City (520) 466-8114.
The lot is 0.29 acres Parcel # 402-17-345 The taxes per year are $35.00. From what I see on the Web site this area is growing and will be expanding to the designated lots.
