I will find a lot of reasons to complain about Minnesota and the Twin Cities area. But water quality isn't among them. Most of the Twin Cities area provides some of the best tap water in the country. A couple of areas in the western suburbs draw water from bad wells, but they're in the minority.
One of the things I will miss when I leave this rotten climate is the water.

Though Duluth has always had the best water of any place I've had tap water. I can remember going to the Cities when I was young and dreading having to drink the tap water. This is before filters became commonplace among my family. Even now I still dread it.

I declare Phoenix the victor of the tap water war between Minneapolis!
My uncle has property on the slopes of Mt. Shasta in Northern California. He has a well and the water at the tap is cold, clear glacier melt. The best water in the world!.. You can have a taste of it by buying Crystal Geyser bottled water.
