Any native of AZ knows of places like Tombstone, Arsenic Tubs, Two Guns, Santa Claus, Christmas and Dos Cabesas (Two Heads).

I found a new favorite. Hell Hole, AZ (near Winkleman)

I know Hell's Hole, it is a water hole you hike to and swim.

There is Top of the World, AZ too. And Geronimo, AZ.

Why, Arizona - town

Piestewa Peak used to be called Squaw Tit Mountain, then got sanitized to Squaw Peak and finally changed to Piestewa Peak.

Felicity, AZ. Although the name isn't as strange as the town itself.

Over in my neighborhood we have BAGDAD and SWANSEA. Swansea is an interesting little bitty bit of a ghost town. It's darned hard to get there and there are no swans, and no sea. Go figure. Must have been named by a Welsh miner.
