I was thinking about moving to the central part of AR. What is it like there? There is a town called Prattsville that sounds nice and its close to Little Rock? Anyone been there or could comment on the town or surrounding areas?

It is a farming and logging community, and during deer season it is pretty well shut down. There is no school, but when there was, even it closed during deer season. The people are nice and there are several churches.

I should have add; it is a long and crooked road from Prattsville to Little Rock.

I have a friend that lives near Prattsville and might possibly relocate near there or Little Rock someday. I have never been to AR so I definately need to visit.

That's a big 10-4, you need to visit. If you want to live near Prattsville
and L.R., may I suggest Malvern? We lived in Malvern for 40+ years before moving here six years ago. It is 16 good road miles to Prattsville, 35 four lane miles to Hot Springs, and 45 Interstate miles to L.R., so, you are within easy reach to all. We commuted to L.R. from Malvern for about 30 years because we preferred to live there.
