Typical Bryant experience, even the doctors suck here. I've been dealing with a pinched nerve in my arm for over a year now, and countless visits and hundreds of dollars later, these idiots can't even tell me where the nerve is getting pinched.

I spent $200 bucks at OrthoArkansas to see a Dr. Hudson who was very rude and only talked to me for 5 minutes. He offered no solutions or answers. So I went back to my family doc who ordered a EMG test. I had the test done in April, (extremely unpleasant experience) and no word from my doctor for a month. I finally called, and they wanted me to see him. The doctor couldn't even remember that I had the test done, and couldn't find the test results!

He also told me several times that he just couldn't know everything and even resorted to a reference book. He ordered another neck x-ray which was pointless. I need a neck MRI. He told me he would set one up, and that was 3 weeks ago. I'm sure they forgot me again.

I'm ready to give up Family Baptist and look for some one else. Is UAMS or St. Vincent docs any better? I'm seriously thinking about driving all the way back to Texas for my healthcare. That's sad!

wow, how many times did you see Dr Hudson for $200? It is too bad you don't have health insurance via your employer or are you talking about on top of what your insurance has paid?

Too bad the original doctor can't find your records, that does suck..I do know, usually when a real problem shows up on tests of any kind, the doctor or his/her office will call with results. No news, is usually good news.

I wonder how much longer you are doing to continueing living in the place you hate before you return to good ole Texas?

Well it shows poor organization. He finally found the results, it was on a computer. I didn't have health insurance when I saw the ortho, and they charge you $200 bucks up front. Now I have pretty good coverage.

I'll be stuck here until the economy recovers which may be never!

UAMS is worth a try, they hire carefully and I've never had any interactions (or heard any recent comments) that were anything but positive. However, I don't know about the cost or how long it would take you to get an appointment. I have had no interaction with St. Vincent's at all, so can't offer much insight there.

I would not send an animal to Dr. Hudson. Rudest and worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life. He does not believe a word you say and is the most arrogant human (if u can call him that) I have ever met. I wish nothing but one of his family members pain.
