My family and I will be relocating to Central AR in the next few weeks from MS. The company I work for will be transferring me there. My wife and I went and looked at Searcy and Heber Springs. We prefer that area over the Little Rock and Conway area due to the amount of people. We are both from small towns and really love the slow simple life. We aren't big into shopping or the night life and we 2 small children so safety is the #1 concern.

My questions are: Besides the vaction rentals in Heber Springs are there anyother rentals available? Are there anyother areas within 30 mins of either town that are safe and good to raise a family?

I'm not concerned with travel or anything like that due to the fact that I will be using a company truck to run a route checking gas wells.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Greenbrier is an awesome place to live. I live in the countryside and will be moving soon as well. We love it here and will miss this beautiful countryside. We are 15 minutes away from Conway and about 40minutes from Little Rock. I am glad we chose this area 3 yrs ago. Good luck with your searching.

We also will be listing our home soon so our experience is just beginning.

Thanks Paulsue. My wife and I wanted to look at that area but ran out of time during our trip. I was in Searcy for my interview and only had enough time to visit Heber Springs. We are hoping my company gives me the choice to pick where we live. I know it will be in the North Central part of the state.

We use Regions Bank. Is there a branch in Greenbriar or 1 close buy?

I hate to keep asking questions but is there any rental houses available in that area?
