The only personal experience I have of Arkansas is driving I-55 south from the Missouri line into Memphis. In other words, not much.

Is Hot Springs and the National Park there worth a visit driving from South Alabama with two toddlers? What is there to see and do? Is it family friendly, and are accomodations reasonable? What about camping?

I know I could probably find a lot of this out through Google, but I want to find out firsthand.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Yes its well worth the stop. There are a couple of live shows, lots to see and for free you can go see the bath house. There is a petting zoo for children off of Whittington st. there is a science museum that has a lot of hands on for kids. You won't regret it.

There are also plenty of options for camping on three different lakes or just out in the woods.
