do ya think we will ever know the story behind the $20,000? That is the part that bothers me the most, the rest I can live with, although I think he is an jerk, I can understand his trying to hide the whole thing, but the money part was the icing on the cake I think.
As for firing her, hubby brought up a good question: if they keep her isn't it possible the other candidates will say they were not given a fair chance, couldn't they treaten a law suit? At the least the job would have to re-posted and the interviewing process repeated. What are her chances of getting the job a second time
We were listening to one of the sports shows on the way to radiation this morning. a lot of the fans are about as upset with the gal as they are with Patrino.

As far as the sexual harassment issue, it isn't the woman in question who can claim sexual harassment, but others in her department, or others who applied for her job, can claim that she received preferential treatment because of their personal relationship.

I can't see any way they can keep her. The way she was hired was a violation of university policies. And yes, the other applicants could file complaints against the school now that the facts have emerged.

Thanks DC, he only has 4 more treatments, it has been a 7 week, daily ordeal but thank god it is about over. Then we take about a 6 week break and do for another 8 weeks. We are just thankful he has had no serious side affects and we are living today, not 50 years ago.

Everything is going amazingly well. Of course the C scans in June will tell us more. Yes, please a prayer here and there won't hurt; we are doing well, but our poor cars are getting tired of 50 miles a day, 5 days a week.
