A couple days ago we talked to a family friend who grew up in a small AR town and after receiving his formal education (in AR) he left the state to receive additional formal and speciality training in his chosen field. During the next 20 years he lived in several states while following his career. A few months ago he had the opportunity to come back to AR, and when we talked to him, he told us that he had not appreciated what we have in AR until his experience in other states the past 20 years. And he also said that people who have not been out and about do not fully understand what a treasure AR is.

Of course, most of us already knew that, didn't we !

ARKANSAS BUSINESS newspaper has reported on the University of Arkansas annual Arkansas Poll, and of those polled it states; "Seventy-three percent agreed with the statement that 'Arkansas is generally headed in the right direction.'" We knew that didn't we? The only problem is that too many people will not acknowledge or accept that fact. Oh well, you can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Although it probably has been around for a while, I just now saw a magazine with which I'm impressed and it's purpose is to give a wide variety of info to people who are moving (or thinking about moving) to Arkansas. It is LIVING IN ARKANSAS, is a freebie, and can be ordered on line. www.arkansas.com/relocate/relocation-guide
