I like Snowball in Searcy County. And in Montgomery County there is a Hog Jaw.

There are actually two Evening Shades in Arkansas. The famous one is in Sharp county but you also pass through one between Hope and Lewisville on highway 29. It's not on many maps but the city limit signs sure say Evening Shade.

However, everybody in Evening Shade (it seems) has a picture of them shaking hands with Burt.
Burt Reynolds used to own land in Bull Shoals. I'm not sure if he still does or not. It was just land, no house was built, at least not before I left Arkansas in the mid 90s. A friend of mine who worked in the tax office took a picture of the check Burt wrote to pay taxes on his land.

I'm glad to see the love for Flippin in this thread. Growing up there, I never thought anything about the name. It was just the name of my mom's family.

I like the names Gassville, Yellville, Deer (and their high school sports teams, the Deer Antlers!), Pangburn, Pocahontas, Timbo, Stamps, and Waldo.
